Can i sue my supervisor for false accusations?

my supervisor has made false accusations of me been late for work when there is proof that i was not and accused me taking time of to go shopping when in fact i was wearing military uniform picking up food for the next 4 days of training ahead which has made my employer think of me as not a good employer which can cost me my job is there anything i can do about this??

how is what you just said false, what you were wearing has nothing to do with it, you were shopping if you were picking up food, or am i missing something?

You have me confused a bit here.

No, I do not believe you can sue your supervisor for this. Has anything else came out of this? Have you or are you going to lose your job? Are you in the military (big one)?

Just because your Sup has "accused" you, will not give you any grounds to go suing. Something has to happen before anything like that can even be thought up. I'd say talk with this person's Supervisor and speak your mind (respectively) to him or her and see where that gets you.

Always try and keep it at your level or the lowest level possible. This will help if and when the time does come for legal action.
