Can i transfer schools but finish off my drama production in my old school?

im leaving my school to go to a homeschooling program in the same district.
however, i auditioned and got the lead for the musical at my current school back in december.
to stay in the musical, they're telling me that i have to stay at my current school for the 5 weeks after the first semester, but recieve no credit.
that would put me behind in the homeschooling program by an entire year of one class (i dont know how to explain this)
i want to leave my current school but still stay in the musical
is there a way to do this?
they are in the same district and my new school has no drama program.
please don't be rude or silly

it would mean a lot to me if i could find a way around this.

If you want to stay in musical, please continue in the current school. The other option would be to ask them permission to change your school, and your honesty will be appreciated and they may allow your request. |

Your school can make the rules for who can be in the musifcal. Sounds like you will have to make a choice. |
