I went AWOL from the Army because my wife had a miscarriage and they wouldn't let me leave. I was shipped off to basic training and I was there for only 4 days, so I really didn't do any time in the military.

It all depends on the dept your applying for, best thing is to tell them your siduation and see what they say. |

You probably wont get hired in a major city, but yes, you can overcome that obstical. You may end up working in a town of about 10000 people for really low pay. Good luck. and, dont take my answer as fact. Who really knows? |

I have a bad conduct discharge, unless you're applying for a high security job or federal position they take it on a one by one basis, I actually did brig time and I know of a person working today for the bureaus of prisons in Ohio who I was locked up with. |
