The president of the company introduced me to a small group of men a leaving the company twice over mental issues. And they all starting laughing and 1 of the men ask me if I was doing ok now?wtf? He is allowed to give out that kind of information? I have had a panic and anxiety for 37 yrs. and my company knew of this and they also knew that I've been having trouble w/ it. Well i was so upset over this that I was crying and put in my 2 weeks notice. the next morning 1 of the men that was present came out to me to try and convience me that was never said-he even looked looked in eyes and lied right to me. I called him a liar and he became extremely angry and started coming toward me yelling and shaking his finger at me,threatened me w/ sick pay-vacation days etc. I became so scared -I grabbed my coat and left and never returning. I did tell someone that I was quitting and why before I left. I have a witness that heard the whole introduction. Isn't it against the law to expose your medical condition and if it is-does anyone have a website they could give me to seelk advice? Thank You

It is not a good idea to seek legal advice over the Internet. The field of law is too complex for that.
Seek the advice of an attorney. Call your local (usually county) bar association. Ask for the names of lawyers that handle employment law for employEEs.
When you call the law office(s), insist on speaking with the attorney - do NOT tell all the little details of your matter to the Secretary - save the details for the lawyer.
After you get the attorney on the phone line, ask him/her:
- Do they have free, initial consultations?
- How much do they charge?
- Do they take payments on their accounts?
- Can they help you? OR Refer you to someone who can help you?
