can you quit your job becuase you were harrased by managment and told them to stop and they didnt and collect unemployment for that being the reason you quit? i know you can collect if you quit becuase they mess with your salaray or threaten with it

One has to document the details of harassment before he leaves employment. The resignation letter should refer to these documents. If this is planned ,one can collect unemployment. |

yes, but most likely the unemployment will work hand in hand with the employer and you will get nothing unless you have a rock solid defense, but by time they haress the life out of you and turn all of your friends against you.. you will be half dead |

In theory yes. In practice the unemployment office asks the employer why you left. You say harassment, they say insubordination or willful termination. Tomato tomaaaato. If your claim of harassment has teeth I'd suggest speaking to a labor attorney to find out your options. |

Absolutely! But unless you have written proof (complained in writing to someone in management or a supervisor) to submit to the UI office if your claim is investigated due to your former place of employment contesting your claim on the grounds you quit you will have a hell of a time trying to prove what you are alleging. |

I don't know, but you can sue them if they harrassed you and you have proof. It depends on what kind of abuse. |
