The number of possible choices in the field of law enforcement is virtually unlimited. The federal government alone has more than a hundred different investigative agencies. Just a few of them are the FBI, the CIA, the IRS, the INS (Immigration), the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency, the BATF, the Secret Service, the NCIS (like the tv show of that name) Military Intelligence, Military Police, Homeland Security, etc., etc.
Then there are the State Police and dozens of other state law enforcement agencies.
Or, you could just become a private investigator, either for yourself or for some large corporation, or for the Transit Authority. The list is endless, and they all requre a degree in criminal justice, at a very minimum. Good luck! |
