I work for a firm in northern england, 2 out of 10 employees will be made redundant, they have based there choosing on a stupid points system which is flawed.I have been with this company longer than other employees. What rights do i have, etc

well firstly you can complain about the way in which they are going about the redundancy.
You can also appeal to have your job back through your local union but only if you can give enough evidence to suggest that the redundancy was unfair and not taken serious.
