I read an article that said they make up to $100,000 a year and the demand is always high. Please share your experience. How much do you make? What skill do you absolutely have to have in order to succeed?

WARNING: Jobs in the field of Law are drying up FAST!!! This is NOT a good field to invest in right now!!! Reasons: very bad economy, people (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work thanks to the WWWeb, there are TOO MANY law schools (including those for support staff such as court reporters) which are churning out WAY TOO MANY graduates to be supported by our country (USA). In other words, you will graduate but be unable to find a job in this field. Also, law office jobs are VERY competitive and political. If you want a job as a Court Reporter, you better have good connections.
Suggestion: Go into the field of Healthcare <<< LOTS of jobs in the field of Heathcare!!!
