I'm not aware of any schools that have super amazing CJ programs. You can choose whichever school has a good reputation. I went to a state university and graduated with my BS in CJ.

Probation and Parole, Law Enforcement, FBI, DEA, ATF (alcohol, tobacco, and firearms), Support Enforcement.

Those careers have an emphasis on CJ, but if you receive a bachelor's degree - you can find jobs all over the place. Many fields just require the degree - regardless of the concentration.

A "criminal justice" career is good, but stay away from becoming a Lawyer/Attorney.

We simply have a GLUT of Lawyers - we have WAY TOO MANY Attorneys. Even IF you finish law school, you probably won't be able to find a job when you are done.

Stick with enforcement, and you should be able to find a job.

Good luck.
