Recently some of the line supervisors where I work have been told that they are going to have there pay cut and somebody else was going to be doing the job that they have.Is this class as demotion and can the management do this to them,some of these supervisors have been do there job for about 7 year,no reason has been give to these supervisors for these actions

Maybe those people should go and work at Angie`s place and tell them that they will work for less money than that stupid ***** .
Looks like these days the bosses can do anything ,just tell the demotees to **** in their bosses lunchbox ,and hope he gets trated at a NHS hospital where they have not had the "super deep clean "yet |

Yes, sorry, it's legal to demote people, and/or to cut pay, and they aren't required to give you a reason. |

Yes, companies can demote people. If you are a union worker then the rules might be different though, in which case it should be brought up to the head of the union. |

Employers can do just about anything (even fire you) without giving you a reason. If these employees are unhappy about it, then their option is to look for employment elsewhere. |
