Describe a time when you had to work closely with others in pursuing a goal. What was the situation?

Ah, for you this is easy. Just write about a time you've helped one of your clients. I'm sure there is a time you've really gone out of your way to help someone out. Hopefully that someone was a sweet old lady, because that will look very good on your application.

I was an accountant for many years, and I got promotion by the way I treated my customers.
Remember your customers are your employers and without customers you would have no job. I always put them as No 1 and treated them the same way as I would like to be treated myself.
I was more on their side than on the firms side and helped many in financial difficulty. I speciallised in poor payers and encouraged and helped them to manage their accounts. I saved the firm millions in bad debts (of which many large companies have loads) Each one I kept out of the courts meant regular income for my company instead of being persued or written off. I had lots of high interest accounts of which I helped them get even higher interest and made the companies turnover increase from year to year.
It was by customers recomending their friends and giving letters of commedation that did it for me. I got promotion after 5 years. Now I am a Managing Director, so I think that says it all for my service to my customers.
Your answer: work closely with your customer at all times, taking full note of their requests, answering any questions, and assist them in the best of your ability, being totally honest at all times, within the guidelines and the realistic goals and targets set by the company. All clients are human and have problems like you or me, if you help them, then they will help you.

How can anyone know about a time when you worked closely with others while pursuing a goal? How can you be stumped on a question that simply asks you to describe a situation? The question could not be direct.

Have you never teamed up with another person at your job, or personal life to accomplish something? Then, after teaming up successfully complete the predicted objective. If not tell them about the last time you played and won football.

Include:
What you did(Situation)
Why yo did it(Purpose)
How you did it(Method).
What happened after you did(Result)
Who I did it with (Team) - not your spouse.
