I just can't get this out of my head and I need to know because I did not pass the bar the first time around in July 07. For the first question, Torts, I knew I covered the major duty/negligence aspects (invitee, licensee, trespasser) but forgot to mention ultrahazardous activity under Strict Liability. Maybe I got a 65 as a result. For the other 5 essays I was more confident (hopefully 70+), except for Community Property which I probably got a 50-55 on. My Performance Tests were pretty good, the first one hopefully a 70+ but if not a 65-70. My second one was definitely a 70+ and maybe over 80. My MBE score is totally unknown but I definitely did every single question out there and I think it improved from my last MBE Score (which was low). So, considering all of these scores do you think I passed? I hate to wait for two months in this agony, and I just need to know...now. Thanks.

So, you think you got a 70 on 4 essays and a 50-65 on 2 essays. Performance exam - one may be a 65, the other may be a 70 (very hard to get a 80 on any portion). If you got a 50 on one of the essays, you would have had to score at least a 90 on another essay to get the average of 70, so it doesn't look good there.
So you answered all the questions, but what was your MBE score in July? And do you think you got 50% of the questions correct? How many of the 200 questions are you sure you got correct.
Just get the test out of your head. Don't worry for 2 months - at least until the Friday before Memorial Day - I think that's when the results are released.

P.S. I don't think the missing of the ultrahazardous activity under strict liability is a deal breaker. I remember when I had a criminal procedure/law essay question and I wrote about all the applicable hearsay exceptions except the grand jury exception (where the grand jury can hear all sorts of hearsay) and I still passed the exam! |
