what can i do about discrimination at work me and two people are being discrimenetated agenst i cant say what the company name is as i fear that i will get the sack here is what is happening me and my two friends are told that we cant talk to each other but the people who are friends with the managers stand around and talk to each other about football and they are never told off and the one persion who is the favourite is so lazy the first thing he dose when he comes into work is go and make himself and his friends a drink of coffee or tea if i say a few words the team leader snaps at me and more or less says i am slowing down the whole shop how can that be true and what can i do about it i want revenge another thing that happens is that when we get our delivery we are told that we have to do a cage on our own but the golden ones can all work on the same cage then at the end of the day it looks like they have done the most work but if you think about it they cant have done more i am so sick of it if any one can help it would be great

I know what your going through, i went through the same thing. All i can say is since its your superiors doing this then you do have the option of going to their superiors. Usually all this does is cause a load of hastle and end up with you losing your job anyway as they inevitably back each other up. Even if the superiors believe you, who would you fire? The other choice is to stick it out, i assume you need the job or you would have already left. Be professional and do your job to the best of your ability - look for another job in your spare time. Bear in mind unemployment just passed the 2 million mark before doing anything rash. Good luck |

well here in the states we would report them to the better business bureau or your Human resources department. I dont know what the equivalent is in the Uk |
