I dont know how different it is there then here (USA). But here, under 18 you must have a work permit. There are also restrictions on hours worked during school week, as well as summer vacation. when i was in highschool, i had to go to the school guidence councelers office to get the work permit. Had to get a form signed by my parents, and then get the actual permit from the school, with an official seal on it. No it would not be something you could apply for online as your parents would have to be able to sign for it. Here you can also hold jobs at 15, just different work permit with a higher number of restrictions on when you can work and how long.

As for online "jobs"....99% of those are scams. Really if you want a job, get a real job at a store or something like that. Will build a work history for you, so in the future when you are looking towards a carrer, that will speak well for you on your resume. An employer would much rather see that you worked in a real job, dealing with people, dealing with a boss, dealling with responsability of showing up, then to just see you did something that you never had to leave your house.

And no, online jobs will not send you cash in the mail. They will require a bank account, or a pay pal account or something along those lines. And if they are scams, you can end up screwed both finacially and legally. I have watched an interveiw of a woman, who repackaged and shipped things (which may or may not have been stolen or purchased on stolen credit cards, but didnt know it at the time). They "paid" her through a pay pal account. Months later, after she had spent like $800 off of the pay pal account, suddenly the deposit got recalled. The money had been payed off a stolen credit card, and the owner of the card disputed it. So she had to pay back $800. And she could have got into legal trouble too, but fortunately didnt

You need to be 16 and have your NI number and a bank account. Online jobs are usually a con and will cost you money, under 16 you cannot work with people where you are talking on the telephone.
