Do I need to move my staff to a larger room?
Find answers to your legal question.

Do I need to move my staff to a larger room?

I have recently taken on two more servants. This means that fifteen people now live in the staff shed outside. There are four beds and a hammock, and there is a tap on the outside wall. One of the more strident housemaids has advised that more space is required for their lodging, and even a heater. Are they right?

Shed!!! are you made of money, m lord.Get them to dig the ex army bivvy out of the attic and keep some livestock in the shed, at least you`ll make money out of the stock at market.
Think your getting soft in your old age.

5th Earl of Daveshire
This is becoming extremely reminiscent of a certain rotter, and Im not totally sure this is place is big enough for two such utter cads.
As to your problem, if they want warmth, set fire to the shed.

It sounds like chronic overcrowding contrary to EC Directive 94 Subsection C clause 245. You need to shoot a few of them.

BearAngel
No, i'm sure they are fine. Just make sure they don't start breeding as you might need to extend the shed.

sounds big enough to me
if it was me i would remove some of the planks of siding off the walls so that the air can circulate a little better a little fresh air would do them some good and it would keep the air from getting a little stale in the shed

oddball
HUMBUG, pack them in tight, they will warm each other up.

no, give them a candle, if it gets really cold, tell them they can light the candle

The Tenth Duke of Chalfont
Such shocking impertinence! If there is room for a sheep in the shed, there is room for 5 people.

Pure simple arithmetic then dictates that body heat shall keep the building warm and a heater is surplus to requirements.

you need to be more organized, more servants necessary or more space necessary? good staff always deserve a better conditions but won't waste all resources, in the addition, will a heater cause other problem ? such as fire ? other accident? then you need more insurance, then you really need me to be your majoydomo :-)

redvelvetflames4ever
This can't be true. I would hate to believe these kinds of conditions still even exist (they need heat? they need more bed space?) Obviously you are not in the good Ol' U.S. of A... You would be crucified!

Brianne
hell ya omg they need a heater at least and more room would like definetly be needed
