I am doing some applications, as well as apps for state licenses. I have a recent job that I only worked a couple days a week for like a month. Do I have to put this down?

background checks are not governed by any state or federal law, they are completely at the discretion of the employer, and no it will not show up |

you do not have to put that job down on your employment record. It may come back on the background check but if the rest of your employment history is good, it shouldn't be a problem. If your potential employer learns of this position, you can tell them about what happened (for example. it was only parttime, you wanted full time; or it just didn't work out and tell the reason.) |

Background checks are governed by state laws, which are different from state to state. Background checks do not necessarily include employment history - but generally speaking, by law, you need to be made aware of what is going to be checked. It should be included on the release that you signed as to what information is going to be sought. |
