Do i have to right to email my head director my feelings that I feel I have been wrongly terminated?

even after I've tried to explain myself to another director. but they said it wasn't anything personal just I wasn't a good fit for the job. I feel I was singled-out and accused of not properly doing my job. It was a position where there are always two on the job who are responsible for the duties. I feel that all the weight was put on just my shoulders and that only I was held accountable for certain things not being done. Do I have the right to explain and defend myself and also apologize if I've done wrong. But moreso back up my actions while taking responsibility for them.

It would be pointless. The employer knows what type of employee they're looking for....if you weren't a good fit, you weren't a good fit. Learn from the experience..take with you the good from that job, and move on. If you felt that the weight was put on your shoulders all the time...what do you have to apologize for? It doesn't sound like that's a job you'd want anyway. When looking for a new job, remember what you didn't like about the last job, and make sure you don't repeat history. Think of it as a learning experience, and don't beat a dead horse. It'll just make you look bad, and you don't want that. Best of luck to you, and I hope you find a job that is gratifying to you, and makes you feel good at the end of the day. Take care.

I am sorry to tell you that the director's decision to terminate your service is final and do not waste time to persue on the matter. Instead you should learn from whatever mistakes you had made and not make the same mistakes again. Move on and get another job elsewhere. With your experience and enthusiasm, you can succeed. for what purpose?
they canned you.
if they offered you your job back would you accept it?
how would you feel going back to the department when everyone knew you were canned, then went crying back for your job?

screw them, there are plenty of opportunities out there, look ahead, look to the future, you can't change the past

You can email the head director, but don't expect to get any action from doing that.

I would do this in person, not e-mail. Have you talked to HR? At this point, do not be surprised if he/she will not meet with you. If they will not, then write a letter, mail it...no e-mail.

Never use e mail for such things. Make a personal visit by appointment. If you feel that it is wrong full dismissal then mention it to the Job Centre when you sign on.

You should find out what your legal rights are. Were you really wrongfully terminated and in what waY? Did they coach you or give you any clue as to what you were doing wrong so that you'd have the opportunity to do better? Or were you just fired without going through the step process that so many companies follow (verbal, written, final etc.) Research..... also you may not accomplish much in confronting or contacting the head director; however it might give you some level of personal satisfaction in doing so
