my mom work's as a cook in a public school with a salary of
200.00 a day from 6am -6pm,for 8 years in Cainta under the Municipality of Mayor Mon Ilagan but last sept.27.2008 they told them that she will have a leave just for 1 week but after 1 week they fired my mom without any valid reason of why they have to do that to her . She have no SSS at all. Please help us on what can we do to have justice in my mom's case.Sorry for the wrong grammar.

what type of law depends on what grounds for dismissal.
if you live in a state with at will employee hard fight.if she feels she was discriminated against then equal opportunity employment commission eeoc charges might apply. was she let go do to budget cuts in the school district tough one if dol ruled against see if they have appeal process might need legal help look for legal aid most states have some type of free legal help given by lawyer
