Some of the best lawyers are huge *******, so I would say no. It's a lot like doctors in that some people are just not happy with one they feel they cannot relate to, but I want the best and most experienced, and I could give a rat's behind about people skills if I know I'm getting the best representation. |

Yes
You definitely need people skills to be a lawyer. Many of who I know are lawyers. |

Not necessarily. I would suggest it however, that is, if you would like your clients to actually respect and like you.
Most lawyers i've met aren't the nicest and don't have very good social skills, but I suppose that's a stereotypical type of thing to say. I imagine there are many who know how to deal with people on a level that's normal, considering i'd like to become that kind of attorney.
I'd say, yes.
Best of luck. |

Not really, you have to know the law and how to use it to your clients beinfit. Law has nothing to do how with people skills, just get thought law school and take the bar. In law school they don't have a class on people skills. after the Bar know the law. that is what makes a lawyer, i hope i helped |
