I have worked with one of my best friends and he had done some bad stuff and what I did was confront him about it, in a nice manner though. I would try me best not to come across rude and if he thought that I was I would apologize and tell him that I never meant to be rude and it got to the point where I had to report him and the boss confronted him. He was mad at me for a few days but we are still best friends.
