As stated by two people, you contact the Equal Opportunity Commission, but I would also suggest your contact you Legal Aid Department in your city. They can direct you to an attorney who will assist you without a fee. Also, the state attorney's office will supply you with all resources available to you.

There are couple of different ways you can get that info.
Look in the yellow pages under " legal aid" or "legal services" or under "social service organizations" and call and talk to them and let them direct you further.
Secondly, you call the local EEOC office (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) which is usually listed under state or federal govwernment pages in the phone book. You can aslo get this info on the web site for EEOC. All you to do is search the web for "EEOC". Usually it will have info about offices in your area.
Third way is to call your local state Bar Association and ask for a lawyer referral for initial consultation which is quite inexpensive for the first 1/2 hour. Then the call the recommended attorney for a appointment.

Try the EEOC. If they agree with your assessment, they will take care of it. If they do not agree, you probably have a weak case. |

Call any employment lawyer in your city to schdule an appointment for a free consultation. All lawyers give a free consultation to explain their fees and what, after they hear your situation, they feel they can or can't do for you. |

You can try your state Bar association, but usually you must be low income to get free legal help. Many lawyers will consult free the first time to see if you have a case though. Most of the time, there isn't a case though. |

Depending on the nature of the problem, either of these two sites may be of assistance - the EEOC is the agency that mostly deals with discrimination claims. Either can file a claim on your behalf for free.
