Does my employer have to pay me for taking a a mandatory class?

I live in Wisconsin, my current employer is requiring me to take a class, and pay $65 for the class. I however only need to take the class for this job, and they are not paying me for the eight hours of time, I have to spend taking this class. Is there a law on this?

No. You also have the option to quit the job and not spend the $65.

No......if you don't like it quit...........your employer cannot make you do anything........lots of us would love to have your job.........
