Does this sound like a good major for a career as a lawyer?

I have not decided on the type of law I want to study but don't want to do pre-law in college so the major I'm thinking is political science, does that sound like a good major for an aspiring lawyer.

p.s. please don't answer if you are not a lawyer or don't have any knowledge about what I'm asking I need serious answers. Thanks.

Choose a major that will get you a job if law school doesn't work out. What would you do with a poly sci degree? Is it marketable?
