Does work comp cover personal items such as cell phones eye glasses ect… if destroyed in a work related accident? I deliver car parts for Carquest and was driving a company truck when a 16 year old unlicensed driver ran a stop sign and hit my work truck and caused my truck to spin around and roll over. I was taken to the hospital and work comp has been paying for all my medical bills. My cell phone was damage in the wreck so does work comp cover your property if it was destroyed in a work related accident?

workers comp will replace eyeglasses but the employers auto insurance will replace the phone. either way you are not out any money. |
