Dress code for a job interview?

Dress code for a job interview?

Can anyone help? I have an interview for a job in the legal field on Tuesday and I am really nervous. As well as worrying about the interview itself, I am also worried about what is the right thing to wear. Has anyone got any tips. I am 20 and from the uk and the job is for a city institution in London.
Thanks
Jamie

If you attend an interview dressed professionally, you will feel a sense of confidence and others will sense your self-assurance. Many employers interpret your appearance in terms of what you know about the world around you and what attention you give to detail.
The candidate dressed in a suit and tie is going to make a much better impression than the candidate dressed in scruffy jeans and a t-shirt !!!!

You neglected to mention whether you are male or female, but a suit is good for either, conservative pinstripe or solid. The legal profession tends to dress conservatively, so nothing wild.

If male, suit with tie. Dress like you're going to Church
White shirt, power tie, but not too gawdy.

Deedee
a suit definatly

Wear a conservative suit. How do people in the legal field dress? Dress like them.
