Employment Question- Liberal Leave?

What does liberal leave mean? When your employer tells you that you can take liberal leave?

I was just looking that up myself...From what I gathered, it means the company is open, but because of the weather conditions they understand if an employee comes in late or does not make it in to work, legitimately due to risk of endangerment.
