I graduated from college 4 years a go and the jobs, that
I want require a 2 to 5 years experiences.
Now,
I decided to make up a well cooked resume to sell
Myself, in order to get a job.
I have had 4 good interviews, and over 5 job call
For the first time in three years. Still, no job offer.
A back ground check with first and last name, could that be
Enough disclosure for a company that I did not actually
Worked, as I said on my resume.
People lay to get a job, why not.

most background checks use your name, aliases, address, former addresses and social security number to find information about you.
so yes a name search could possibly prove your resume' to be false or a simple reference check will do the same.
your lack of job offers may have nothing to do with your resume', the economy is not in that great of shape and the job market is simply getting worse.
let's assume you get hired by lying,
what do you think will happen when(not if) the lie is discovered?
it does not say much about ones integrity when they lie to gain employment. how do explain your lack of experience and productivity when your resume' states you have so much more knowledge and experience then others in the position. lying in the pursuit of employment always comes back to bite ya'. |

Honesty is the best...if you lie about your past you will lie about any thing...........sorry...........if you watch CNN a lot of high power company leaders that "cooked" up a few things are heading to jail........ |

The job I want (CEO) requires advanced degree from an Ivy league college and 20 + years experience. Sometimes you have to get the job you can and "work" for what you want. Takes time, but a lie now will be caught sooner or later and then your are out of a job and outed to every co-worker. Be honest and find the right job for you and then work your butt off to get what you want. Good luck |

A background check does not show education but does list previous employers and residence.
This will affect what you put on a resume if they do a background check.
If I had someone who lied on there resume I would not hire them within my company. |
