Freelance writer/ lawyer or stockbroker?

I like all of these careers but would like some further insight. If you have any opinions as to which career u think is best please post. Also say why.

All of these require more than just desire. Lawyer requires three grueling years in law school after obtaining an undergraduate degree AND passing a state bar examination. Stockbroker also requires an undergraduate degree and passing a certification examination. Anyone can write, but to be successful you have to be good. Freelance writing requires an absurd amount of self-confidence, ability to weather rejection, and extreme amount of fortitude. Even then, the money isn't very good. If we lived in a better economy, I'd say go for stockbroker, but with things the way they are, lawyer isn't a bad way to go. Freelance writing is dead last. Only the best are financially successful. |
