If you've been subject to harassment by, say an assistant manager, what legal recourse is there? What can the Department Of Labor do? Would it be worth it to sue them personally? Any experiences with this? Don't bother replying if you're just going to talk garbage.

Okay -- First of all the Department of Labor has NOTHING to do with workplace harassment. You may have a claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission or even the Human Rights Division. I cannot say for sure since you do not offer enough information regarding the harassment you underwent. Also it would have to fall under Title VII the Civil Rights Act. |

Your best action would be to go to the department of Labor and talk to someone. They have legal consultants that will talk to you for free for the initial consultation. Any advice you get on Yahoo Answers other than see a legal consultant is not worth the bits it took to display it. We don't know your situation nor the legal standings in your state, county, and city.
