At the moment I'm just finishing my as levels, I'm doing four and aiming for a a a and b ... I'm looking at lse, kings college and ucl but I'm just wondering how difficult it really is?? I mean say I do get AAA in my a levels will it matter that I don't have masses of extra curricular stuff??
I'm going to be shadowing a few lawyers over summer but Ive never been captain of a team or done debating and I don't know if it matters? :S And how leneant are they on your grades; would I probably not get in with AAB??

I am just in the process of applying for financing after getting five offers from all five unis that i applied for one of which is UCL.
Dont worry about the extra curricular stuff, most people make it up, its your grades that count, you cant say you havent done anything outside of school.
what are you planning on studying, lets say science, you have to say why you want to study science, s on your personal statement you have to tell them why they should choose you.
There are people in colleges and school who will help you with your personal statement.
Finally what i want to say is that last year i was in the same position as you, worried if i will get in or not, but all that worrying was for nothing.
i know people who have got in to ucl who have got much lower grades than you. |
