how to reverse the situation?

Whoa. That's pretty harsh. If it wasn't chronic misses or if management's expectations were too high, you should speak to HR. Its managements responsibility to monitor progress and results, you know. Where were there concerns as the deadline was approaching? Some states protect employees more than you might think. Too, was it your sole responsibility to deliver on this deadline? Did the others get fired as well? What was the reasoning provided? As sad as it is, sometimes these are setups to out people - not always by management, but by passive aggressive co-workers. |

If this the corporate culture and motivation that you are getting from your organisation, the best thing to do is to seek other options. |

I don't know if there is a way to reverse this, especially if your employment contract allowed for it, which I am sure it did. Probably some obscure reference to neglect of duties or failure to perform, etc.
You might examine anything you signed, any hiring papers you have, to see...or try to negotiate your way out of the firing. But you might just be out of luck. |
