HELP - Wage difference?

Ok, so I'm facing a bit of an educational dilemma and I'm hoping that there might be any job market experts or paralegals themselves who could help me make the right choice here.
So, I'm finishing my BA in Sociology in April and having decided that being a lawyer isn't for me but that I still want a job in the legal field, I thought being a paralegal would be a good way to go. In looking at different options for paralegal programs there are two that I'm bouncing back and forth between. I have applied to both and am waiting to hear back as to whether or not I will be accepted. It would be great to go to Humber (the first option listed) but after being in university for 3 years already, I dont know if I'm ready to commit 4 more to college.
SO...
First - The program at Humber College is a 4 year applied BA. In the outline it mentions getting to learn about all of the different kinds of law including international, family, and elder law. There will also be sociology and stats taught which I am already taking so I'd like to try to fast-track the program if its possible seeing as I will already have a sociology degree for which stats is a requisite. All in all though, it seems pretty interesting.
Second - The program at Algonquin is a 2 year course with an unpaid co-op placement at the end. This will give me a diploma and not a BA. It's a shorter program but in the outline it only mentions the small claims and WSIB type of subjects that the Humber program also covers but without all of the other interesting kinds of law.
Will there be a wage difference if I have a BA in Sociology with a BA in Paralegal in comparison to a BA in Sociology with just a diploma in Paralegal? If it means that I'll be making more money in the long run, the two extra years would be worth it, but if not, I don't want to waste time and money for nothing.
Can anyone give me advice on this please? I'd really appreciate it!
