My husband is a type 1 diabetic. (insulin dependent) Just recently he's been having a lot of things stolen on his desk including his insulin pen/insulin. Obviously if he doesn't take it. His Diabetes is in jeopardy.
So, he's had a time change and cannot take his pen to work now because of someone who keeps stealing things and he cannot eat from 10:30am-7:20pm or drink. He ended up in the E.R. almost on death row last week because of this. His managers don't believe him or trust him or believes his Diabetes is this serious. They are not pushing the fact that his stuff keeps getting stolen like his insulin.
I'm worried he's on the verge of getting fired now because they think he's talking out of his butt. What do we do? I think this is wrong. That we ended up in the E.R. because of them. This is their fault. Help!!!!

I agree. It is wrong. I did tell him to keep it in his pocket, but of course out of habit. You pull it out and put it on your desk. Bam. There you go. He leaves for a minute and it's gone.

could u not get a dr's letter confirming the seriousnes of his condition?
to be honest hun if he could get proof i would def see a court or a solicitor,this sounds liek harrassment with the chance of wreckless endagerment (i.e he could end up in a bad way without insulin xx)

My husband know's alot about this then I do...So when gets back from work...I will try write again...God willing.

This is wrong! Why doesn't you husband have doctor write a letter explaining that this is a serious matter. maybe your husband should think of carrying the pen on him since some adults are being childish and stealing such a horrible thing.

oh my god.. its just shocking to read this... what kinda ppl would do like this..
better ask him to keep his things in a kit, ask him to use a bag in which he can keep all his medications and office things.. its question of job and life...
its there in some indecent ppl in office doesnt want others to go head , get promote spoil their well-being.. but this is worse... i suggest him to take a shoulder bag to keep his medications and papers.. or buy a locker and keep it below the desk.. |
