One of my friends has recently told me something and I do not know what the solution or answer could be. There is a guy in the company she works for who has harassed her 1-2 times in private locations, and all the time he sends inappropriate notes or makes such approaches. He has asked her out several times and every time she rejected. But he does not give up. He is married by the way and is not afraid of other people seeing him while he does such thing (except for the private locations). He is kind of guy who always has a few women around himself. He is rich and is the boss of her boss in the company and has been working there for over 10 years. Based on this, she says if she makes a complaint, the company will definitely takes his side eventually, especially given the fact that there is no proof other than her words. And if she does not lose her job over this, it will jeopardize her position seriously, and the guy will make her troubles from now and then, because he has the power.
Please give me any advice, solution, or action she could take, other than sitting back and watching this situation.

Tell her to tell him that she used to be a dude and would love to get into a relationship with him. And watch him back off
on a serious note, if worse comes to worse, it's not necessarily true that the company will side with him. don't be afraid to sue and make some noise. Also,, if he is doing this to her, I would not doubt that he's tried it with other women in the company. If she speaks up, many more may follow. |
