I work in the Home Health Care industry for individuals with MR. Well, I was at work on 7-13/7-14. That Monday morning I woke up the individual to get ready for "work" and he ended up chasing me and the other person that lives there out of the house. He then went into the garage, grabbed a broom, went outside and hit my car about 6 times inflicting $900 worth of damage. I called our corporate office and they said that they were liable and there would be no issue paying me for the damage that was caused. So then I talked to my boss today and he said that all he could do is pay my deductible. Only problem is I have Liability Ins. and there is nothing that State Farm can do for me. Now my boss is trying not to pay me for any of the damage done to my car. I know I can go above his head again and talk to corporate but all that will do is piss my boss off and I'd be afraid of losing my job that I've had for the past 2 years. Is there anything else that I can do?
Additional Details
My boss told me it DID come out of his budget... i don't know whether to believe him or not. He is making this whole ordeal seem very sketchy.

If you've tried to handle this with him and are getting no where your only choice is to go over his head to get your car fixed. Yes he'll be mad but it doesn't sound like you have much of a choice in this case. |

Go over his head. He doesn't know what he's talking about, and the $$$ doesn't come out of his budget anyway. |
