An employee at a tanning salon explained a package to me and we reached an express agreement to sign up. Then they brought me to the counter and had me electronically sign a pad, not telling me that I was actually signing a contract. Then they printed the contract out and gave me a copy. The thing is the contract terms are different from what she had described to me. Am I still bound to the terms of the written contract?

I can make a contract say whatever a person paying me money wants it to say. I dunno some states require them to give you three days to back out of certain contracts, it should be in fine print of agreement. I just try to be real obnoxious, sometimes that will get you out of a contract. |

on both copies, sign a note on the side or at the bottom stating which items differ from what was verbally discussed with you, and have them countersign it. if they refuse to sign as well, add a note stating they refused to sign your addendum. if either party sues in court for breach of contract, you will have the burden of proof to support your claim.
