Hey, if you are a lawyer please can you help?

If you are a lawyer how many hours a day do yo work, how many days a week do you work and also how often do you see your family e.g in the evenings?

This is in the UK and does not apply to all occupations.

basic rights and protections that the Regulations provide are:

a limit of an average of 48 hours a week which a worker can be required to work (though workers can choose to work more if they want to).
a limit of an average of 8 hours work in 24 which nightworkers can be required to work.
a right for night workers to receive free health assessments.
a right to 11 hours rest a day.
a right to a day off each week.
a right to an in-work rest break if the working day is longer than 6 hours.
a right to 4 weeks paid leave per year.

Lawyers like all professionals must be a leader in his legal profession. To improve and grow in his legal business, he must balance his personal life styles and work patterns. He must set up a time table for his work, social and family responsibilities. Or devise some sort of a personal work culture similar to the work culture of his staff. Because this is important for his well being. To be competent in work, his healthy life styles and also his obligations and responsibility to his family

I am not a lawyer but I know two well.

One is a deputy D/A, very well respected, and he seems to have all the time he wants. The other is a very young real estate attorney, and she only has time to bathe and feed her kids.

Like anything else, it's what you make it.
