How can I help ketch online predators?

I want to work for the police as one of those people who chats online pretending to be a young girl or boy. I think I would be really good at it but I don't look like a little kid so I couldn't use a webcam. Are those people true police officers? How can I get a job like that? I live in Jacksonville, FL. Please help.

I'd suggest contacting the JSO and asking - while some people who catch online predators are actual law enforcement officers, by no means all are. Some are just volunteers who work with them to help ferret them out. Your looks probably aren't an issue. I doubt many predator-hunting programs use webcams anyway.

First you'd get a job with the police department or state police, then get promoted to detective, then get into that group.

there just might be a direct hire program -- suggest you contract the local police chief and discuss it with him!!!
