How can I start my career as a Contractor ?

Well,I am studying in my High school's..but I wanna start my career as a contractor ? But i have no idea about this particular profession ...I am studying commerce...so what should I do first and what should be my priority in this profession and and can a under-graduate person can start this profession ?

There are a number of types of contractors-like civil contractors , fabrication contractors, Plumbing contractors,labour supply contractors, etc.,
Therefore decide the type of contract you would like to engage.It will then be possible for anyone to guide you properly.

Check out a tech school and take a course about contractors to get started. Then check with local contractors and start out as a laborer to learn the ropes. Soon enough you will gain the knowledge and skills to move up or possible start your own contracting business. Good luck. |

It’s great that you are thinking about career in this stage. That’s definitely smart. I will be keen to see you succeeding in life.
Now its time to sing the song- wise man, wise man, there’s so many roads, so many ways, which way to go?? I am offering you the most effective way to figure out the best career option for you, but its going to be a lot of work. However, you will be happy for the rest of your life that you spent the time.
The steps will be:
1. Read the life story of successful people in the world, what career did they take, and how their life was shaped.
2. Know yourself….explore in depth. Figure out what are your natural strengths and weaknesses. Don’t get bogged down on your weaknesses, all of us have them. Build on your strengths.
3. Read the book “Think and grow rich” by Napoleon Hill
4. Do what you are passionate about. As per the law of gravity, things will have to fall down, when you are doing your career in your passion, you will definitely succeed.
5. About the ways, don’t worry. When you have found your true passion, the teacher will come.
And if you found that you wanted to be a contractor, decide what type of contractor you want to be? Can you see yourself happy doing so after 10 years? If yes, then learn contract and project management. Although I strongly recommend you to complete graduation from a uni first. |
