How can i change my legal signature?

I want to change my signature. I have been using one for the past 10 years and it is too silly. It's on my passport and all other documents that I ever signed. As I will have more serious documents to sign in the future, I want to change it. Is there an official process to do this? Thanks.

Your legal signature is only how you choose to sign things. The only problem you will run into is the new one not matching existing documents. The only time that will come into play is if one of those documents is used to match up the new one to make sure you are the person you say you are. Simply update your passport and anything else you think matters.

Sometimes I use my middle initial on legal documents, sometimes I don't. It has never failed to be accepted.
