you don't even have to get off the computer to file

your state has a website you can find it here:

Call or go to your state unemployment commission office.

Go to the unemployment office. Sometimes it is called work source or employment security or whatever state works etc. And sign up you maybe be able to file over the phone. It is a poor man's paid vacation.

You could go straight to their office (call your county's hot line to get the address) bring your proof and you can fill outt he paperwork there and be done with it
