For the UK go to this site http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/Employees/Timeoffandholidays/DG_10034642 - there is a link to 'Calculate your holiday entitlement'

k
12 days holiday a year plus 4 Bank Holiday.

As your mate only works 24 hours a week he/she is classed as part time. Full time is normally between 35 and 40 hours a week, and they are entitled to 24 paid days a year plus the 8 Bank Holidays.

To answer this, you need to know how many hours the full timers work and how many days holiday they have.

Once you have this information, you need to divide the number of days by the number of hours worked, then multiply that answer by 24 (the number of hours your friend works) and this will give you the number of days she is due.

Well how many is she entitled to for a whole year?
