Go to the state employment office for assistance in looking for prospective employment. The state employment office usually works closely with those employers who will hire ex-felons.

im going to be real with you it's hard to get a "JOB' when you are convicted of a felon. maybe you should try doing a home based business this is the one im in and i was able to stop working my "Job" http://www.fdioverview.com/mjohnson1

Iremmell64 is on target here. Also check with the court system. There may be a judge that can help you, perhaps the one that sentenced you. In our city there is a program called Operation New Hope that works with convicted felons and they work closely with the drug courts to get you a job. They have lists of employers who will hire felons.
