Previously I had asked about visitation rights for my sons father. Everyones response was basically to get a lawyer and go from there...thing is his dad is nothing but a top notch loser and always has his family to call me and check up on my son so they can tell him how hes doing. Along with other stuff he is and always will be the scum between my toes and I have enough proof to seriously fvck him over sick! So...how do I go about getting a lawyer to help me with supervised visits? (I think thats what its called) Do I just thumb through the yellow pages, close my eyes and pick out whichever my finger lands on...or is there better ways in doing this?? Anyone who could seriously give me ANY information as to what to do and what to expect I DESPERATELY need your help!!! Think of it this way...my sons health, and well being depends on your help...PLZ!!

There are a LOT of people who are divorced these days. Ask around and get your friends and family to ask around too. Chances are, you or someone you know has had a good and positive experience with a family lawyer who can help you. Believe me, a personal recommendation is like gold, and is far better than any commercial or ad. |

ask your friends, co workers etc who they would suggest. Then contact you state bar association for referrals in your area. Most attorney's do off a consultaion for under 50.00, you go in and give them a brief rundown of what you need and see if you like that attorney. I went through several of them before I found the one that has done the best for me. |
