a consumer report (background check) can only include information from the last 7 years and/or any criminal convictions that are still covered by the crimes statue of limitations. warrants within the last seven years may show up but should not only convictions should show. consumer reports use public records but the services that provide this information are governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act and this information must be verifiable.

it all depends if they run a local criminal such as your state or Federal which will reveal anything and everything

it depends what the charge is for and yes they will go all the way back to when the first offense was committed and what the criminal out come was for the crime that was committed
