Not me but there is no such thing a legal break or holiday pay unless you are under the age of 18. As a minor you are owed breaks by law. Be happy you have a job :) |

I have a very good job thank you and earn a fortune. However the down side to the big bucks is that you have to work 7 days a week.
I average 90 hours a week and have not been able to take a day off in the last three years. I the took the afternoon off Christmas day.
I theory there is a legal requirement for holiday, in practise the employer can do whatever they like. Where I work people who routinely take time off don't get bonuses or pay rises and are given the worst jobs so eventually they leave.
I do it because I enjoy what I do and have nearly made enough money to give it all up (maybe next year). |

There is no such thing as a "Legal Holiday Entitlement".
Every company chooses whether or not to give employees holidays off or with pay.
Also, in regards to your question, if you are in this situation, do something about it. Take courses, investigate what it takes to get into a field you want and do it. |
