Once...FedEx is evil! I quit my first job ever @ Walgreens because it got to be too much to take. I was working in the pharmacy and there were customers who were waiting in line who decided to chew me out because the pharmacist was busy with another customer and I wouldn't interrupt him. I told them, "You know what? I QUIT!" wrote a note to my manager and walked out right there. |

Once. Forced resignation twice. Walked out on several jobs in a huff with no notice, cursing and gesticulating wildly all the way out. Of course, all of this was in my early to mid 20s. Once I hit my late twenties I calmed down a bit, and, as luck would have it, found a great job for a great employer just after the mid-twenties hump, so I've had the same job for over five years. Still have an anti-authoritarian streak and a temper, but I'm lucky I guess I'm in a job where that doesn't disadvantage me. |

I've been fired twice as far as I can recall. Once was at kmart, because I called in like 2 or 3 times in my first month working, and the other was with this trading company, but I was fired from there because the company wasn't doing too well, so I guess I was laid off. And i quit a job twice, once because I was a dumb teenager and decided to go to runaway to New York, for some strange reason, and the other time was a telemarketing job. On my first day I left for my 15 minute break and never came back. |
