Warning: Jobs in the field of Law are drying up FAST!!! This is not a good field to invest in!!! Reasons: very bad economy, we simply have WAY TOO MANY lawyers (go to your phone book, look in the Yellow section under "A"), many people today (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work thanks to the WWWeb, we have WAY TOO MANY law schools today churning out WAY TOO MANY graduates for the demand and economy (but the law schools won't tell you this - law students are easy money).
Suggestion: Go into the field of Healthcare <<< LOTS of good jobs there!!!

I'd recommend visiting a site like http://www.salary.com and inputting your info as if you were a first year lawyer. That'll give you an idea about the price ranges for your area.
Where I live, it's anywhere from probably $30,000 and up, depending on the size of the firm, how long you've been employed and/or practicing, the area, the type of law, etc. |

well dat depends if they are working for the state, a firm or there own firm. state can start at 50 grand, working at a firm can start 100 grand, and if they own there own firm then they can charge 1,000 grand an hour just to talk to them. |
