How much time you think ill get?

Im on felony probation in California for three years and i have a year left. I decided to go to Las Vegas without my p.o.'s consent because it takes days to her to get the paperwork and i had an urgent family situation. But while visiting i was arrested for j-walking and false info (i lied about who i was cause i knew i was illegally out of state) but i was released the next day cause they never figured out i was on probation but they did pull my conviction up. If I try to get away with not tellin my p.o. she'll find out anyway and ill be in a whole lot of trouble. Im going to be up front with her what do think'll happen and how much time you think ill get

I am not sure what California laws are but it sounds a lot like Texas needing permission and all. To answer your question a lot depends on your P.O. If you go in with documentations that you had a family emergency and you don't piss dirty they may just jump your probation to intensive probation for the time remaining. If she decides to revoke you then you will have to do the whole 3 years. More then likely they will just put you on ISS probation and maybe extend it for a little longer.

It depends what you left the state for.

You might get sent back to do the rest of your time.

Hopefully she'll be cool, but you can pretty much get as much time as any violation which is whatever she wants to do. And really, who jay walks when they're violating... That's like speeding with an open warrant or drugs or something in your car... not smart. Well clearly it's not smart to do any of that stuff in the first place, but still...

That's because you promised to abide by the rules of probation, and you broke that promise.

Seriously, I'd not tell her, since you'll then have a 50-50 shot at making it through and being discharged from probation.

If you do tell her, you'll have a 100% shot at prison.

If it was a urgent family situation like you say it was you should have some way of proving that. it you are up front and tell the truth and haven't been in trouble yet maybe she'll be lenient.

At the very least - another year or two of probation, or it will just get more strict.

Hard to say. You know, on felony probation you could get up to 5 years if it was a repeated offense. But, your first time you might get nothing, maybe even up to 90 days. But my friend did the same thing, and he got 2 weeks. But this is in michigan.

It depends on if it's a first time offense against probation or if you've had more than just this one. You could get up to the full time you were supposed to serve, but most likely just the time you had left after probation if you were to get in trouble. It is very possible that you could get at least a few months.
