Basically on Feb 17th I was suspended from work under gross misconduct, I was told I was suspended on full pay pending an investigation and that I would received a letter stating when I could attend a meeting. I received this letter 2 days letter stating everything they had already said and I was to attend a meeting the following Friday which I did - this meeting was basically an investigation meeting, they put their point across and I put mine across, they then said I would receive another letter stating when I could come in for the final meeting. Now, its been 2 weeks since that intial meeting and Ive had no letter, etc.. If stated otherwise will I still be getting full pay as intially stated and is there a legal limit as to how long I can be suspended for as Im sick of getting paid for doing nothing now which sounds daft but at first it was nice, now Im just bored!! Any advice, would be great - thanks

Well if they said you are still getting paid your still getting paid. I don't know how long they will continue to pay you if you are suspended from working. As for the being bored try doing some home projects or doing something you haven't been able to do because of work. |
